I spent much of the day crunching a stack of academic papers to prepare my research proposal. It seems for every paper I read, I wind up with several more to follow up with. The stack keeps growing…

I am thankful for having such an amazing guy in my life, and am constantly inspired by how hard he works, and how far he’s come. What an incredible little man.

we’re reading the Harry Potter books, and are up to “episode 4″ (Goblet of Fire). I wanted to wait until we had a few books under our belts before watching any of the movies. Safe to say, The Boy™ is a fan.

My folks droppd this off at our place on the weekend, along with some vintage 1971 Pooh books. This was one of my favourite stuffed animals as a kid – it must be very nearly 40 years old now – and I still remember the little guy’s eyes and red vest.
